System Deployment

System deployment is simple.

Often a survey of the location may not be required. Based on the number of rooms and size of each OCTAVU will determine the number of transmitters required. The units are delivered fully configured in a 'plug and play' setup. The exhibition manager is just required to determine suitable locations with a standard power socket. The units are then plugged in and begin operating immediately. The system is supplemented with some signage to advise visitors of the system and how to connect.

Exhibits are labelled so they can be easily identified. This may be with a unique identifier or due to the very simple search routes on the OCTAVU tour guide system often with a simple generic label to show the visitor additional information is available on the tour guide system.
